Born from lived experience and a deep calling to serve, the Healing Crown Foundation was built on the belief that every Black and Brown person deserves access to culturally affirming mental health care.

Yulonda Brown is a dynamic leader and mental health advocate whose work integrates wellness, leadership development, and organizational excellence. As a certified NAMI Sharing Hope Facilitator, she delivers culturally responsive mental health education to African American communities, supported by more than a decade of service with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
Within Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., she serves as Chair of NAMI Partnerships, leading national collaborations that expand mental health literacy across the sisterhood. Her expertise earned her selection as a 2026 national presenter for Mental Health, Leadership, and the Black Woman: The Blueprint for Sorority Impact, establishing her as a respected voice on Black women's wellness and leadership.
Beyond her sorority roles, Yulonda is the founder of The Healing Crown, a nonprofit dedicated to healing-centered advocacy and mental health empowerment. She also serves as Board Chair of Circle of Care STL, contributes to organizational excellence through her leadership role at BJC Health, and is actively pursuing doctoral studies. Across all platforms, she remains committed to advancing equity, strengthening communities, and elevating the voices and experiences of Black women.
